Roger Severino
Roger Severino is a former Senior Fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center in Washington, DC. The son of immigrants, he received his JD from Harvard Law School and was a trial attorney for the Civil Rights Division of the US Department of Justice. In 2017, he was appointed Director of the Office of Civil Rights at the US Department of Health and Human Services. In that key role, he became a nationally prominent defender of religious freedom. He is currently vice president of domestic policy at The Heritage Foundation.
