What’s Still Wrong with the World

October 10, 2019 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Join us for an evening with G.K. Chesterton (performed by Dr. John “Chuck” Chalberg). The night will discuss What’s Still Wrong with the World, based of his book What’s Wrong with the World which is still very relevant to our modern times.

Dr. Chalberg delights many audiences throughout the United States with his historical impersonations of American and British characters, such as President Theodore Roosevelt and G.K. Chesterton.

His characterizations of Theodore Roosevelt and H.L. Mencken began as an extension of his teaching of American History at Normandale Community College in Bloomington, MN. In recent years he has added G.K. Chesterton, George Orwell, Branch Rickey, and most recently Bobby Jones, while reviving a past character, Huey Long. Last summer, he also revived his characterization of Patrick Henry for a chautauqua in AK.

Chuck is attempting to bring to life several significant figures of the past. He has performed for state chautauquas all over the country, as well as for many colleges and business groups.
