Revisit Lepanto!

October 7, 2022 @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm

To celebrate the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary on October 7, 2022, please join us for an exploration of G.K. Chesterton’s magnificent poem, Lepanto. The poem is is a dramatic recounting of the decisive battle that preserved European Christendom and inspired Pope St. Pius V to establish the feast day—also known as the feast of Our Lady of Victory.

Phil Lawler will discuss the importance of that decisive battle, explain the imagery of Chesterton’s poem, and conclude his presentation with a recitation of the poem itself.

This event is co-sponsored by the Center for the Restoration of Christian Culture and Saint Benedict Abbey.
